For anyone else looking who has the same model of laptop as mine, I would advise you to follow these instructions with four changes: 1) Use the driver 2) Remove both the AC adapter and the battery 3) Instead of holding down the power and beats buttons for 10 seconds, hold down only the power button for 15 seconds. 4) Press Escape repeatedly on boot-up until you get the option to use the BIOS menu. I tried this procedure but on my 15t-3200 I could't get it to boot into the start-up menu using Esc. After trying 30+ times, it never showed me a prompt. The trick was timing, I hit ESC and F2 alternating and after a couple of times I got it, for some reason adding that extra key made the prompt appear in the lower left about the start-up menu for a flash. Alghough you can't see it, it will still take the input to get you to the menu. Once that was done, I was able to finish the procedure and it all worked fine.
